« on: August 27, 2011, 10:30:09 PM »
3 different candle holders styled after ice cubes

does anyone know the makers/designers, period?

2 are about 2x2x1 inch, clear glass, flat bottom

2 are 1x1x1 inch, for tapers, clear glass, impressed base

1 is 1x1x1 inch, for tapers, yellow/gold tinted, impressed base

I got these from Ikea about 6 to 8 years ago. They are about 3 cm (1 inch) square. I think a couple of yours might be these. (Ignore the bits of candle and burnt wick in mine, they are all clear.)

I bought a friend a pack of taper candles with this type of clear, cube holders included in the box.  That was only last year from TKMaxx.

It gets worse! hahahaha! Ok, hit me where it hurts ---- place of manufacture? No, Ikea and TKMaxx is bad enough - still I go to these places for shelves and jeans.

I guess it's a case of if you like 'em, you like 'em. I find my fair share of Kosta and Iittala stuff like this for £1 ... it just doesn't come on here coz I've already ID it.

they're very simple.  I'm sure they're made all over the place.  You won't be able to find even the country of origin unless you find one with a sticker on.   :-\
