--- Quote from: "Ivo" ---i think that if you search for Bayel you will only find stamped pieces because people do not recognise the unmarked ones.   :D  :D  :D

Wise comment, Ivo, and one we all should remember more often.

Thanks Ivo, very helpful!   ::)   ;D

So do I assume from your reply that Bayel did not mark everything?  :o

Anne:
Ah Ha! I managed to find the earlier discussions:

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,2543.0.html

I forgot to search the board for Bayel - I went all over the rest of the internet instead!!!

Ekimp:
On page 383 of The Decanter by Andy McConnell he shows an original 1959 Flygsfors Coquilles series dish next to “the modern copy” that is very similar. He identifies the modern one as 1990s IKEA, made in China and unsigned. There is only one picture from one angle, but it does look very like the one in this thread.

Another unmarked example here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,70276.0.html

Anne:
Thanks ekimp. IKEA did make pieces that are similar to the Coquille range, I have an amber one in a flatter shape - see here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,47883.0.html - which I'm pretty certain is IKEA, but it's not of the same quality as the blue/clear one in my post at the top of this topic.
