Sweet little pressed glass salt & pepper set
« on: August 27, 2011, 05:08:13 PM »
Hi.  I recently bought this from Ebay because I think it's lovely.  A google search shows that there are quite a few around.  I wonder if anyone knows where it was made/who by?  Many thanks.
Nancy

 :hi: Nancy,
no idea so far, but are the red caps glass also?

Having a spare half hour I did an international Ebay search for 'glass salt' and came up with 11 of these listed in the US and one in Canada, which leads me to the conclusion that these are probably American.  Some are listed with metal caps but the majority with plastic.  Will now have a hunt for possible makers in the States.  :)
