bohemian glass stein german writing help please

can anyone give me some info on the writing on this stein i cant make out the second word in german i think. altes = old , somthing then von baden i think
any info on the stein would be greatfully received thanks oh and what do you think it is on the opener of the lid i think it looks like two arms with hands clasping
