Clear Vase with Applied Strapping
« on: September 19, 2011, 03:48:49 AM »
I bought this vase at a market and was interested in the shape and the applied strapping. The base is solid and slightly indented and has some age related wear. Height approx 23cms (9") x 11cms (4.5") across the top.

Hi there and Welcome  :girlcheer:

Kinda an unique piece there....and just wondering where you might be located as sometimes that is one of the first things that helps to point us in a direction.....Sometimes, not always.

I am sure someone will be able to give you more info....I am still learning myself....lol.

Again Welcome!!

Hello Rose, thanks for the friendly welcome! I am in Adelaide, South Australia.
I thought it was an older piece of glass but just can't work out where it originated from. I will look forward to any help you guys can give me. Cheers and thanks again, Chrisade
