(Uranium) Another Unknown Part ??

Again, here is another piece that was in the box of odds and ends I bought.  It must go to something, but I do not have a clue at all what it could be.  Another Uranium missing link here too.  Glows, but that is all I know.  About 5.50 inches across.

Anyone know *what* this is?  Or used for?  Or the ID of it, and the maker ???  I have no clue at all!!

Might be way of the mark, but could this just be the lid off something..? Is there a small ridge or lip around/near the underside edge..?
