Okay, this is probably a really dumb question for anyone who knows the vaguest of vague things about Czech glass (so definitely not me, then)... but I keep seeing these pop up at carboots for a fiver or less, and at collector's fayres for £30-£50...

What are they? I do recall seeing one mentioned on here once a while back, but I've slept a lot since then...
