Hi, I bought this last week at an auction. The auction house had shown a picture of a mixed 5 paperweight lot but left this inside its box!!! I've re-entered the other weights in the next auction but fortunately no one else on-line seems to have bothered to ask for a photo of the Whitefriars weight. I paid a reasonable price against someone in the room but still way below value for this beauty.

PS. It's a 1980 PG103 random florette cane double garland BUT with the very rare ILN centre cane ( Illustrated London News). This exact design is listed by Brian Slingsby in his guide as a design trial with very few made or even a "one off". Well definitely NOT a one-off now.
