Hi Roy,
            if we now have 3 examples based on the random garland PG103, do you think Brian's guide is mistaken in suggesting that the P25 was the basis for the issued weights? Seems possible, unless Brian has first hand information to the contrary. Who has a P25 ILN weight other than the one illustrated in Brian's guide book?

At a car boot sale this morning spotted this at the exhorbitant price of £6 picked it up and the stall holder says " nice that, pity it's not an original".
He saw my slightly puzzled expression and said "you know, pity it's not an old French one, its a copy"

"Yes such a shame" says me, "I'll give you a fiver".
Deal done paperweight in bag and away I go.

Below are a couple of images of a Salvador Ysart 3D Butterfly I have just acquired.  The (few) others that I have seen had wings made by pulling millefiori canes to shape: has anyone else seen an example with plain coloured wings?

I have seen a couple of other Salvador Ysart plain-wing butteflies.

An example with orange wings was shown by Bob Hall in CPC Newsletter 75 and also in his book "World Paperweights ...", page 129. However, that one may have had the wings made from a simple "tube cane" as there are smudges of other colour visible.
