Small bottle with stopper & signature -ID = Mdina
« on: October 15, 2011, 04:02:15 PM »
Hi.  I think this is an Isle of Wight bottle but would like confirmation.  It is almost 3.5" high (including stopper) and has a signature on the base.  Lovely colours!  Thanks.

I think this Mdina and a pattern called 'Marble' which is currently being produced. Couple of other examples in the link below:

Thanks for your reply Greg.  I followed the link - the 'Marble' pattern looks a bit different to me, and the shape isn't listed.  But then maybe the shape is no longer available and the pattern varies somewhat?  I really haven't a clue about these things.

Wouldn't it say Mdina on the base?  Is it possible to say that it's definitely NOT Isle of Wight?

Cheers!

Nancy

Definately Mdina.....and very nice too.  :)

Sue might know more,  I just recognise the signature.

Mdina and definately either marble or tiger. Not 100% sure but I believe marble was the successor to tiger.

Would it be possible for a moderator to change the title to 'Mdina bottle with stopper - looking for signature ID'  Thanks!

Definitely Mdina Marble and it definitely says Mdina. That's just a big loop on the front of the M. The things in the range change over time
