"Tiger" was the three colour swirly/painterly design done originally by Eric Dobson, first produced shortly after or around the time Michael Harris left (1972).
Early pieces tend to have the colours far deeper inside the glass - a real 3-d sort of effect, and the yellow background is bubbly and ochrey and a much deeper yellow colour.
The design is still made today, although it's been renamed "Marble" and the load of colours is much, much flatter. The background tends to be frothy rather then bubbly, and a creamy white with dark flecks in it, rather than yellow.
This is definitely Marble, and it really does read Mdina on the base. (often misinterpreted as Molina).
