Scandinavian? Keith Murray? bowl for consideration

Click the above image for additional views.

Diameter 10½" 270mm, foot diameter 3 5/8" 92mm, height 4" 102mm, weight 2lb 13½oz 1291g. Ground out and polished pontil mark, not quite complete and slightly off-centre.

I'm sure I have seen this distinctive shape before, but I can't remember where.

Enlightenment sought please, including manufacturer, designer, and dates.

I was going to say that JE Bang, c.1937, for Holmegaard could be a possibility - based on the style and finish - but the colour is a little too deep and not quite red-ish brown enough for their røgtopas (rauchtopaz) colourway of the period.

Doesn't match with any WF colours I'm familiar with either.

It could be a Sandvik for Orrefors bowl; the colour is correct. What say Ivo and Bill?

...   I'm sure I have seen this distinctive shape before, but I can't remember where.   ...

Found it.   Colour plate opposite p40, Honey, W.B., English Glass, Collins, 1946.   Similar shape, slightly lower in proportions, designed by Keith Murray for Stevens & Williams.

Nic & a40ty — Useful suggestions.   It would be nice to get more informed opinions.

AAARGHHH!! — I've just re-read what I wrote, and it's awful.   I can't believe I wrote that!   My profuse apologies.   What I meant was that it would be nice to get more opinions of the informed type.

I will leave it, just to remind everyone how easily it's done.

After 2½ years I thought that it would be worth giving this one a bump.   Any more thoughts?
