Topic: Large orange and white vase, Scandinavian or not??

Hi All,

This is another vase I got at the weekend. I'm not so sure its Scandinavian. I have had a look on the board and it looks like there are a lot of possibilities to who could have made it, but unfortunately a lot of the tiny pics are gone on the threads. Can any one remember if this vase has appeared before on the board, or steer me in the right direction as to where i could find a bit more about its origins. Its 12.5" tall and 6" across. The neck flare is out to 3".

I would say that's an Italian vase from the 70s and made in large numbers.  Possibly from somewhere like Empoli.

Thanks for the info Max, it doesn't have much quality about it, but it has a nice retro look. I'm glad that you think it might have a bit of age as well ( from the 70's like me!! )
