Unknown Standing Glass Fish ??
« on: November 12, 2011, 05:47:59 PM »
:hi:  I assume this might be China, or Taiwan or something like that maybe...

Standing up Fish with swirly glass base.  About 12 inches tall.  The bottom is hollow, and looks like it *might* have sat on top of something else at one time, as there are some nicks on the *inside* edge when one would expect there to be IF being remove/put back on top of something else and you ding the edges.  I have no idea at all....

It is kinda striking from a distance (like 2 or 3 miles away.... :24: )

The thought just popped in my head that *maybe* this was part of a feature of something like a fountain.  I did not look to see it there were holes all the way through the ruffled base....so I will check that out.  That could explain the chips if it was a top part of something and was moved around....Just throwing it out there, but I am going to now check that out.

Thanks, any info?
