Bird on branch with leaves & flower above four footed dish

Hi.  Anyone know where this might have come from?  There is a similar one listed on ebay (same look but different details) so I thought there might be a series of them.  It is approx 3" x 3".  Thanks!

Primary colours and a red dot in the yellow bits ... Chinese giftware is my bet.

I checked back to see how this was described on Ebay (I knew there had been some sort of attribution but had forgotten what).  Was the seller badly mistaken and the buyer (me) sadly taken in?  OK, it didn't cost a fortune but  . . . !
