Pink Floraform Vase with Leaf Base
« on: November 30, 2011, 03:23:03 AM »
This vase has me stumped. It is clear glass with opaline pink and pale green strips. It is spangled with silver. The base is rather crude, with leaves impressed on the top. The outer edge of the base is ground on bottom, but not polished completely. The vase is not uranium glass. The clear glass has a dull yellow glow that is particularly pronounced in the tips of the leaves. The vase is 5.5" (14 cm) tall. The closest I can come to it is Stourbridge glass. I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have the feeling the vase is fairly old.

It doesn't look English. It might be Bohemian but it kind of strikes me as being modern "old"
