Need help to ID a press glass scent bottle
« on: December 14, 2011, 04:11:42 AM »
Recently I became interested in glass. I am looking for help identifying this press glass bottle. It has no markings. it stands about eight and a half inches and is a little under five wide. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the board. What colour is the glass? Is it painted in some kind of metal finish? Or is it cased in metal? On thing is certain; it is mould blown not pressed. You can't press anything where the top is narrower than the bottom; the plunger won't come out of the mould.

The front seems to be a satin finish the rest of the bottle is glossy.
