Looks like a Cenedese bird in alabastro or opalino. I haven't seen one of these before now. I notice the wings are smooth, instead of feathered. Do you know anything else about this bird, kane?

Unfortunately I know nothing else about the bird TX. Glass animals are like paperweights with me...i tend to  :wsh: I had thought Archimede Seguso, but that base is just something completely different to anything I have seen before...

Although I do look at glass animals on occasions, I have never seen anything like it before. It would be nice to know the maker, such quality to it.

I am absolutely blown away by this piece! It is very rare that I look at an ebay piece over and over but I just can't help myself  :pb:

There's a picture of a gold one in the zoo at http://sites.google.com/site/muranozoo/birds-7. The seagull was added a few days back by someone who was lucky enough to have bought one. I have a picture of one (not mine, so can't post it) that has a Cenedese label.
