unusual cut glass match striker

I have one or two of the more usual form, where the ribbing appears to be created by machine threading - but hadn't seen a cut example before.      Ridges on this one are quite sharp, and although feint, the remains of grinding marks can be seen inside the mitre cuts, so fairly sure it is cut.     I thought it would glow, but appears to be simply citrine colour.       Quite a wide flat foot rim showing reasonable wear, and what might be the remains of a gadget mark.        Just about 2"/50mm tall, so quite a small example (some were made half the size of a football).     Does anyone have any ideas of date or perhaps country of manufacture, and thanks for looking. :)

I like that.  I reminds of the glass lamps found in lighthouses.
