Hello, Although this piece does resemble the PK shape, the difference in them is that the foot of the PK is generally different. It is difficult to see unless you have good images of a PK from the right angle.  The reason that it is described as having a metal covered foot is because there is actually a raised "foot" or base molded into the bottom of the form. I have attached a couple of images which should show the raised foot.  The color and style of the glass used on this piece do not strike me as PK.

I agree with Mike M on this one. The final image shows a pair of pieces by Kralik. The shape is pretty much the same. The white veining used on the pair is a marker for Kralik production.

My pictures should have been better from the start sorry. Here are the pics of my base. And it has the raised foot... the last one probably the best shot to see it. Old camera and I've forgotten how to take a decent photo it seems :)

Thanks for the improved images of the foot....  The style of foot on the piece would indicate it is most likely a PK production piece.....  a rather simplistic decor for them....  What color is the glass, it appears to be an Amethyst color in the images??

Interesting piece....

Would it be possible to get images of the piece against a white background that I could use on my website?  You can contact me directly using the email icon to the left.....

Thanks, Craig

Thanks for the confirmation Craig :) I'll try and find a white background...and I'll get in touch. The smaller vase in the first pic I posted will be the next one I'm trying to ID. :)

Hi there, If you are referring to the light one with the multi-colored spatter at the base, it is a Kralik decor referred to as Harlequin Opalescent.
