MYSTERY -- Millefiori Ball
« on: March 31, 2012, 05:26:12 AM »
Hi there:
This one is a Mystery to me.  I had for a while and was waiting to post this item.  I do not think it is a Paperweight at all !  Are the Canes any good?  About 4 inches in width.  Any ideas at all?   Kinda a dull matt color to it......no shine to it.  Would be a surprise IF it was anything at all.  Will get some more pics in the next couple of days here....

Thanks  ;D

April Fools         ;D   ;D   As this was posted as a that.  I gave many hints to that

Guess I never caught anyone with replies.  It is a Millefiori Candle.  Nice Work in it too -- and Millefiori *GLASS* was the influence for this.  So glass can influence a lot of things in design too.  If you can do it in glass, I guess they realized it could be done in Wax too.  Glass is a GREAT influence on a lot of things!

Have a good Day there everyone [ this can be moved to the Cafe after some April Fool laughs (maybe) ]??

.............Just a bump on this one to make sure you all had a laugh!!  April Fools everyone!

I bought this because IT reminded me of Glass.....and I am sure it was influenced by Glass!
