Mystery Brown smoked glass vase for ID. Scandi?
« on: January 07, 2012, 02:16:31 PM »
I have drawn a total blank attempting to research this one and hope that someone here might be able to help me ID this puppy.

It's 9-3/4" tall, 4-7/8" across the top and 4-1/16" across the base and the glass is apx. 1/8" thick.

Thanks so much

Hi straylight,
welcome to the board! :hi:

I am sorry I can't really help with ID of your vase, but it would be helpful to post pics taken against a neutral (white) background, and a picture of the base and rim.
It would also be useful to know in which part of the world you are located :)

IMHO the vase could be Scandinavian, but Germany would be another contender (among others).

Michael

Thanks for the tips Bruno. Here are the photos you suggested, hope this helps.

The vase was found in the Hudson Valley near New York City btw.
