Don't fret Helga,  we learn a lot buying some stuff that isn't what we thought it was, and you can always keep it to throw at the wall when you are in a bad temper!! :wsh:
I'm off to my poetry class,  so had better put my sensible hat on!! (forgot where I put it!) :-[

No, it's made with cane chips not plain glass chips.

Hi, while seaching ebay today I came across this vase, looks a lot like the one in your link:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330677178867

Labelled "A. Pesavento, Murano Glass, Venezia".
That's interesting. In Worthpoint, there are many entries for items with a form of "Pesavento Murano" label and one in particular seems to tie this thread with another from last year ...
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,40255.msg222836.html#msg222836

And in that other message, I linked to yet another thread that covered a similar subject. (It all gets quite complex sometimes!)

My vase, which I discussed in those other messages is of the same form as the particular Worthpoint entry I mentioned above, which has a "Pesavento" label. Another Worthpoint entry shows what looks like a Chinese paperweight, but also labelled "Pesavento".

So what's going on? Are those "Pesavento" labels added to a variety of items including Murano & Chinese or are they all from one place, or ...???
