Could this pretty vase be Italian?
« on: January 26, 2012, 08:45:06 PM »
Hello, All,

Another vase, unknown to me.  This one is 12" tall, rim dia. 3 3/4", base 3 1/4' and it measures about 7" at its widest point.  It is cased.

It has streaks of blue and some yellow that swirl around the bottom and go vertically up the neck.  It also has some type of fine crackle layer that catches the light so that it glitters.

The bottom is smooth, with no pontil.

Any help is appreciated,

thanks for looking, Adair

Hi there:
Nice vase...I am not sure of the maker -- but I am sure others will have an idea, EH?
