Topic: Help needed on pink glass lamp

From my frineds estate. We think the shade is not the one that came with it. Also the top metal part appears newer than the rest of the workings. Any idea on where it was made and what value?

If it helps, the kids remember this being in the family since the early 1960's. A local glass person thinks it was from the 1920's but with a new top assembly and shade. But she still had no idea on value or maker.

Currently in Southern California, but it was most likely bought in the American South.

The problem is if its a U.S. manufacturer, they all made hundreds of subcontracted pieces/parts pours for glass assembly companies for decades & nobody kept any records. Westmoreland & Tiffin made a variety of lamps for years, but trying to ID 90% of the lamps produced during this period is pretty difficult at best. Looks a bit like the Miss America pattern by Hocking or Westmoreland's version of it, but who knows.

Sounds like it is about impossible to figure out now. I'll just look for something similar and price accordingly. Thanks for the information,
