Blue vase with curved neck

How do you go about describing a vase like this when you're doing searches?  I'm still learning a lot of the terminology, and this one is giving me trouble.

It looks almost like there's a marking on one side of the base, but it's nothing I can make out.

Contemporary vase from somewhere eastern and mass produced for the decoration trade. They come in pairs so you have two entangled side by side - but they are not suitable as vases.

I don't think two of these could be entangled.  There is no spiral in the curve, and the mouth sits directly above the base.

I see these around from time to time although yours is the first I can recall that looks like it has a satin finish. I would agree with Ivo re contemporary production, likely China or India.
