Hi Max
I can see what Ivo is talking about the two bottles are very similar - however see that the round stopper on the blue one is textured and how it more loosely fits into the top. The green bottles stopper is smooth and the cork sits more proudly. I also see what Ivo means about the shoulders and overall shape.
They are both lovely items and I think Scandinavian - in the thread you post members attribute the green bottle as Italian, 'chopin-liszt' very rightly says there is something very Dartington about it, knowing Dartington designed out of the Scandinavian's pockets, I don't think it is Italian, the themes are just such a give away IMHO.
It would be good go get Raoul's opinion - he made an excellent Skruf attribution for Ivo not long ago on a decanter which was green
LOL putting them side by side makes me want to go out and buy two, where can I get them again
cjf - Sorry we can't post recent photographs from books for copyright reasons - in fact even if the book is 50 years old there can be complications - Nigel's book is easy to buy and I think on his website - I have to say it remains a bedrock for me.
