Blue Pyramid Vase With Crackle Interior
« on: May 07, 2018, 01:37:17 PM »
But I haven't got a clue who made it and I can only find one other like it on the net, which is also unattributed.
It is heavy! 1.72kg
It is 240mm high (9.5") and the base is 90mm square (3.5")
Polished pontil scar (not matte).
Oh, and how do they make the interior glass "crackle"?
TIA,
Della

Crackled in the normal way, hot glass into water, brought back up to temperature then another gather (casing the crackled layer under a layer which has not been crackled) and in this case blown into a mould I guess.

No idea who did make it...

John
