Gorgeous German Shepherd/Alsatian Dog - impossible to ID maker?

I'm not very hopeful of finding a maker for this beautifully made alsatian/german shepherd figure, but might as well give it a try. This dog is just so beautifully styled and very early Holywood looking. He is a very dark treacle brown, almost black except where the light shines through. He is 2³/4" from tip of nose to end of tail.

(I have named him Strongheart after an alsatian that starred in some early Holywood movies.)
