Signed Fish Block

What Ho! can anybody help me with this piece pls.
It is about 7" x 5" and depicts 2 fish swimming around reeds, it has a blue base base with pink stones.
It has a faint sig on the base which I cant read. Does anybody know the date and maker please, TIA Wolfie

It looks alittle like Elio Raffaeli to me.  He made Glass Aquariums in different styles and signed his name in a lot of different ways.  You should be able to find many examples of his signature on the net.

Hi Whatho! Can I ask what area you live in, Im pretty sure I saw an Identical piece at the weekend up in the NE of UK. A light went on in my head but I ignored it, probably distracted as it was a hot sunny day  ;D I shouldn't ignore that feeling and go check it out. It was in a Bootsale in Sedgefield. Pete
