Walther clear glass Belvedere figure....never seen before
« on: April 18, 2012, 09:52:52 AM »
Hello
I recently aquired this clear glass Walther figure of Belvedere/Gansiliesel.I never knew Walther produced clear figures and wondered if they also did clear coloured glass figures? Has anyone else come across these types of figures please?
Any input would be greatly received and thankyou in advance

Yes Walther did produced crystal satin figural flower frogs. There are two in the mall I'm in, however they are ignored (at least here) because they are not color. Ken

Hi Ken
Thanks for your post....I have started building up a collection of crystal satin Walther and I think they look lovely. They do seem to be the pieces that are least collected, those and amber. This Gansiliesel is clear without frosting so you can see right through her.
