Members' "country of origin or location" seems to have disappeared................at least on my computer, on all threads

It's still there in your profiles but not showing up front. Perhaps Anne can have a poke with her big stick

Oh heck, so it has, wonder why? It was here earlier. I'll go poke it - maybe it's gone on its jollies now the summer's arrived at last! ;D

OK, apparently the Location add-on we were using no longer works in the new version of the board, so I've sorted out an alternative. To save everyone having to make their own changes I'll see if I can do it globally with a database hack. For new member signups a country will now be a required field.

Due to the way that the old and new Location fields are recorded in the database it's not possible to convert the data globally, so would members please update their own profiles to reflect their location. Thanks!

Thank's for all of your nice comments and help with this one and I'm terribly sorry for my delay in coming back here since my last post . I'm a fisherman in Ireland and had to go out to sea for an unplanned few days .
If Ireland can help with this one then great :)
I first got this because I thought it was Murano , then in my searches for similar ground pontil shapes and colours came across Whitefriars but had to rule that out also :(
I ruled out China due to wear on base and hadn't thought about Japan.
I will suss the posting pics straight here also rather than links .

KR Dave.

You have my total respect Davem, anyone who will go out to sea to catch the fish so many take for granted on their table, does not have to apologise for taking a couple of days out from the GMB to do their job.
I do hope you find the maker of your glass, and in the meantime, safe sailing and bountiful fishing.
Rosie.

When all's said and done, there's nothing left to say or do.  Roger McGough.
