Topic: Blue Cased Glass Vase Ruffled Rim - Scandinavian / Italian?

Hi All,

I have a blue cased glass vase with a ruffled rim. It has a nice large pontil mark on the base, and a good heavy feel for its size.

It measures 7 inch in height, is 4 inch across at the top and the base is about 2.5 inch across.

I have had a similar vase in the past that was actually marked to the base 'Italy' however there is no marks to this one. I was thinking with the style it could be Italian or Scandinavian.

If someone could give me the origin and possibly the maker it would be very much appreciated. Don't worry about disappointing me I live and learn :-)
