Small pink pressed glass bowl, - ID = Stolle Niemen

(1/2) > >>

Anne:
This is another find that has me stumped! It's small, about the width of a bowl from a fruit set: 5" (127mm) diameter across the top, but only 1½" (39mm) deep, so no use for puddings or ice cream!

It's a lovely pink colour, and I thought the pattern would be easy to find as it's fairly distinctive, but I can't find anything like it anywhere! Does anyone recognise it please, or point me in the right direction. I've searched Pamela's sites and the Becker collection site so far.

Jayne:
Cute bowl Anne, I'd not seen the pattern before until now in clear, set of six bowls with matching plates.

Anne:
Ooooh yes, the very same pattern. Thanks Jayne. I had a browse around but haven't found a match before. Wish we knew who made them!

Jayne:
While searching http://www.pressglas-korrespondenz.de/ I found a similar looking pattern to this Anne in the STS Abel Zagrab 1936 DES104TAB35, may be worth checking.

Anne:
Thank you Jayne, I'll have a rummage asap. :)
