No shelf space left - this is my dining-room table

Sue, that is approximately how my dining table looks like, too...
But some new shelfs have been installed, so the table will be empty soon (at least for a short period)

Sometimes I try to display some of my glass in a more refined way -- see pic.

Oh dear... 

This is as crowded as I get:  5 items on a 35cm x 37cm shelf.  All the others have 2-4 pieces gracing their surface.

Anik, me too...however we have a small room in the house that has built in shelves, which was where our books were kept.  They have been moved to a built in cupboard in another room and I have the small room to store all my glass not on display.  They are now full.  The deal is that I am not supposed to buy any more glass until I sell some in the small room    I'm not keeping to my end of the bargain, I confess

I was really happy to find a second of the Hospodka vases in a slightly different shape some weeks ago -- they display really beautifully as a pair.
One is from Berlin fleamarket, the other from Vienna.

My theme here is £10 or under, these Monart pieces were all bought for £10 or under, each one has varying degrees of damage but display fine. The cheapest was the perfume bottle at £1.21 and the dearest was the cigarette holder (2nd from left) at £10.

Spent a very happy day yesterday reorganising part of my collection see picture.....I like colour co-ordinating !! The rest is on windowsills all over the house...uranium in Kitchen, blue in Bathroom &  Bedroom and Amber in guest room and Lounge. Oh I forgot the flint in two huge cupboards in the Kitchen ... will need a bigger house soon.

I am trying to be more organised as well... and have started to colour co-ordinate my collection.  Those shelves look great... I must go and have a look at Ikea.
I also have windowsills filled with glass, and in the kitchen I keep all the new arrivals so I can get to know them,  then when the sills are full, I move some away to other tables, shelves, windowsills, cupboards and the like.
Once upon a time, I did quietly mention to John that if he got rid of all his books I would have more room to display my glass... in fairness he has three wall to wall, floor to ceiling shelving sets he built in for his books (thousands of them!)!  I got this look and this one  ! I just 

Why Simba BTW?

Why Simba?.....sad story ....when I joined my dear old dog had just died he was called Simba so I used Simba as my 'username' in memory of him... real name Angela. I tried shifting some of my husbands books to make way for more glass....he soon put a stop to that. Though I have a plan to put an extension in the loft and move him and his books up there.   Simba is the border collie and the German Shepherd is Tess our other dog who is here at my feet.

Oh Angela, I'm so sorry you lost your lovely doggie.....I asked because Simba is Swahili for Lion,  and I speak Swahili and thought you might too.
I have a herd of elephants amongst my collection of animals.....last count, 60+ of them, 12 of which are Isle of Wight....another one arrived this morning.  I will post some pictures tomorrow. It's time I added a few more of my collection!
