I'm not sure I would be shifting them, John. It looks pretty amazing to me.  ;D

There is a cat that visits and she tends to make herself at home, I am worried that she might knock things over so any displays are going to have to be 'cat safe'. Items will have to be out of jumping range and stuck down with museum gel.

My felines are pretty well behaved - they're just moggies and so far, I haven't had an adventurous one in combination with glass.
To discourage feline interest, I shoved a load of lemons amongst the bits of glass on the bottom and next up shelves. The smell was enough to make them mostly ignore it as a climbing frame.
But if it's near a window a cat might like to look out of, stick it all down firmly.
If they suddenly see something outside, they'll not pay a blind bit of attention to what they kick over on their way to get a better look.

Lit by a couple of strip lights, the top of these kitchen cabinets should be feline proof...
