Nothing rare in these pieces but they are great shapes and the colour is intense.

Thanks :)
no the desk is one we bought for our son in  the days of yore when we decided our children would never have plastic toys, only wooden ones, and that they would never have t-shirts with slogans and pictures on  ::) only child-labour free best organic plain cotton ;D or recycled cast-offs.  That lasted all of ....oh a couple of years, until we were overruled.  Most recently by the decision that only a large Ikea white desk would do, none of that old wooden tat thanks  :'(
Well we tried  ;D

That yellow vase in the middle Flying Free.  Is it rather solid - say 3 to 4 mms thick glass.  If so, have you attributed it yet.  It reminds me strongly of a piece I have that I originally thought to be Holmegaard but turned out not to be.

Hi Ross, no I haven't definitely but I think it is Empoli. I wouldn't instinctively have thought it was Scandinavian.  Yes it's good thick glass, heavy piece and nicely made.  It has similarities in design to a pink vase I have that was id'd on here as Empoli.  The way the foot goes in and makes it look like a skirt type thing.
I'll try and find the link to the pink vase as that might help.
