There's a similar piece on NZ's Trademe at present for NZ$590.  Though it has been on and off TradeMe unsold for quite a while.  http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=487919045

Hi Michelle, I have just sold a very large Garry Nash vase  with the same pattern and colour as yours- check out auction # 480644183 on  www.trademe.co.nz  site and have a drool! It is a lovely colour and I could only exhibit on it's own as the sheer size overshadowed nearby objects. The signature was all but invisible but was there near the base, very similar to the one on your lovely vase.

When I read this thread I thought that the name was familiar and it turns out that I own a goblet by Mr Nash. Here are some pictures for reference.

The middle section is iridescent banded glass.
