I am really posting this here to make sure Robert sees it before a mod moves it to Bohemian glass. This is a find at the large show we go to every year in Portland Oregon. It is now my 4th piece of early Beranek in as many months. I have not seen this color and finish before, but when I picked it up both Peggy and I knew it was early Beranek. The dealer had no idea what it was and it was priced pretty cheap.... a little negotiating and it was almost a gift from him to me.....
It has a smoother interior than my other pieces and is slightly thinner glass. It also has much smaller bubbles formed in the Pulegoso layer which is cased in clear.
It stands approx 7 inches tall and has a nicely ground but not highly polished pontil. The glass itself exhibits all of the characteristic flaws you would expect to see from the conditions under which it was produced.
