Possibly a small studio piece....? Has a clear footed base and pontil mark that has been finished with a clear blob of glass.

Measures just under 12cm's tall.

Signature and possible other lettering/numbering to the base. All thoughts suggestions welcome.

Many thanks
Greg

This piece is made by Gerry Reilly of the Melting Pot Glass Studio in Margaret River, Western Australia (just south of Perth). The writing says "G. Reilly" and a date year, probably 1995, then most likely "WA". He has a web site:

Here are photos of a similar piece from 2000 and a much clearer signature from 1996.

Thanks very much indeed Trevor, that's great news.

I must have tried searching on nearly 100 different variations of the signature, although the signature on mine is a little difficult to read to say the least. I could have sworn the first letter was an S, which probably explains my previous lack of success! Thanks also for the link and photo, the signature on your piece is indeed much clearer to read. Nice to see another similar piece.  :)
