Topic: Please help me identify two inherited glass pieces

I inherited these two pieces of glass from my grandparents.  Both holocaust survivors who came to New York City after the war.  Likely purchased in the 1950s.  Anyone know what these are?  There is no signature and no markings, but the quality of the painting seems very high....

The first piece is a fruit bowl;

And the second piece is a little vase (very small) or maybe a cup?

Terrific quality pieces and a great story. There are Bohemian specialists who regularly visit this site and they will probably be able to name the factory and possibly the decorator. To increase visibility, attaching the pictures directly would make it easier for more people to easily see them and make comments. They look extremely high quality pieces to me,

Thank you so much Robert. I am excited to learn they are "Bohemian"... regretfully, the forum does not allow me to embed images directly into my postings (unless I am missing something, which is possible!)  And it restricts the number of direct attachments I can upload.  Do you feel the pictures are sufficiently detailed to facilitate an identification?

Welcome to the board. No you can't embed pictures, but you can attach four pictures per answer and keep answering yourself until you have enough pictures. You are also better posting each item in a new thread.

I think the ID is in the ballpark that its Czech. The twin to yours & the one on eBay is in the mall I'm in for $350 & its been there at least two years.  Ken

Hi,
a good starting point would be to look for glass, which has been made and decorated in Kamenický Šenov
(also look for the former german name Steinschönau to get further results).
I take it you´ve looked at the pieces very carefully so you haven´t missed a tiny signature in the painted
scenes?
If you find a W.Berndt for example:

But... these have been made over a long time and I´m almost sure you´d still be able to get quite
similar examples in this style in Czech Republic until today. But the date of your grandparents´acquiry
gives an early time frame of course. 
I´m sure I´ve read other names on similar pieces, but I can´t recall them unfortunately...

Hey Ken - Is eBay going to be my best bet to sell both of these pieces?  I'd sell both to a collector for $300, as long as they went to a good home!  My wife just isn't a big fan of the pieces....
