Whitefriars swan colour ID please
« on: September 03, 2012, 06:55:56 AM »
Any thoughts please on the colour of this 8 inch Whitefriars swan. It has a greyish tinge which I thought may have been pewter, but these don't appear to have been made in pewter so now wondering if this could be silver. Thanks John

Looks like Flint (colourless glass) to me.  Please can you photograph it against a white background, not wood?

What Ho! Its either washed out Twilight (they did have some problems with Twilight) or Silver. Its not pewter as this is a cased colour, i think likely silver as these are always a funny colour to identify, cheers Wolfie

Yep, Wolfie has got it, IMHO  ;)  Either washed-out Twilight or Silver.
