Unidentified Red Bud Vase
« on: October 03, 2015, 04:55:03 PM »
Hello,

Does anyone recognize the pattern of this vase?

Thought it was Bohemian/Czech but I couldn't find any similar pieces on the Internet.

Any help will be appreciated.  :)

hello and welcome to the board :)

I don't know anything about cut glass so can't help you but hopefully someone will be along who may be able to.  Sometimes these things take a few days as not everyone is on the board all the time, so please keep an eye out in case someone else posts.

I had a quick search but couldn't see anything, however given your location is Hong Kong it might also be worth searching Japanese glass as they have done some wonderful cut glass.  I don't know anything more to help you except it might be worth keeping your options open for Japanese as well :)

Thank you for your reply, flying free.

Actually this piece was purchased in the UK years ago. But still, it could be anything so I will keep looking  :)
