still no sig, apparently they were either acid stamped to the base or had a paper label so guess that explains that.

Hi Rosie yes can see it would take you back, my dad spent time in Kenya I expect it will do the same thing to him too when he clocks it.

Sadly, no wont be keeping...well the glasses anyway. May not be able to part with the bowl at least for now anyway

I'll ask him Rosie, he's coming to visit this week.  he did his national service in Kenya and was stationed near Nairobi I think but I'll double check
