Uranium as you know glows a very deep green, that being said Manganese also glows a light Apple green and does most old glass made in the early to late 1800's and right though to the end of the Brilliant Period , and that includes on both sides of the Atlantic. Now there is glass that glows a deep green like uranium has Manganese  with Magnesium both are in the glass to made water clear blanks and  and was a replacement for Iron oxide and Red oxide which has Iron in it . there were a couple of oxides that were mixed with potash fine grade sand , if you look at the CMOG you can see many many different formulas for these mixtures.
