Here is a lidded pot from a set in amber glass, but alternative panels are decorated with an enamelled ‘faux-tortoiseshell’ design.

(Permission for the re-use of this image on the GMB granted by bengeworth-crew).

Interestingly, decorative panels in the same style have been seen on another trinket set pattern discussed at

where a possible attribution of Stolzle / Hermanova Hut was also suggested but without any firm catalogue proof. Well, the fact that we now have a lidded pot that is almost certainly by Stolzle / Hermanova Hut, with an enamelled decorative design that is, to my mind, identical, with pieces from both sets marked as Czechoslovakian, must surely strengthen that putative attribution beyond reasonable doubt.

Fred.

The lidded Trinket Pot with triangular finial is shown in the Czech Stolzle 1930's Pressed Glass Catalogue Page 1 Pattern 18726, along with much earlier numbered Perfume Bottle 11346 and Atomiser 11346a.
