Vasart I believe
« on: February 09, 2013, 09:07:03 PM »
I was rather pleased to pick this up, especially when I discovered that the greenish canes at 12.00 and 6.00 appear to contain uranium. The ground is amethyst black. The clear glass is greyish and fluoresces a dusty green under my UV light. The pontil mark is ground. It measures 2.5 diameter, 1.75 deep. I'd like confirmation that it is Vasart and an idea of date if poss please.

Hi Christine

I go with Vasart.

Kev may have an idea of date but from the grinding on the base it looks later rather than early

Best regards

Derek
