Help identifying glasses
« on: September 29, 2019, 12:48:08 PM »
Hi,

I have a pair of small liqueur? glasses but I’m unsure how old they are or where they were made.

The glass is clear but has a slight blue/green tinge (see photos). Dimensions H 15cm, W of top 5.5cm, W of base 5cm.

The pair are not identical as they have different inclusions in small bubbles etc and especially the moulding on the knop above the base.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Hello and welcome, I don't think these have much age, older glass of this style should have larger feet, more tool marks and are a different colour.

I'm just wondering if these are made from recycled glass, with the green tinge and bubbles?

I agree with Anne. Modern recycled glass
