Being a collector of 19th and 18th century glass does not mean I would"nt be charmed by (I suppose) more modern glasses.
Standing on a hidden shelf in a second hand shop I spotted these three beauty's.
I suppose they are champagneflutes. Almost 12 Inches ( 30cm.) in height. The cuppa(s) made of blown twisted clear christal with a deep blue, almost purple glass ring in the middle.
Surely the blue ring reminds me of old Murano chandeleers I saw. But the glasses are not signed so I have my doubts.
However; Searches on the Internet could'nt give a clue about their origine, ore even if it are really champagneflutes ore a sort of tableware with other uses.
Who has any idea?
Thanks for any information.
