Anne:
My feeling is still that these are Czech not Polish...

Simba:
Bit of a fluke finding that link ...I was looking for something totally different........I recall a bigger article about the patterned glass but haven't come across it yet.....I agree Anne I think Czech.

Simba:
Found another set of this pattern which definitely suggests Hermanova....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Ladies-Glass-Vanity-Set-From-1920s-/261956210188?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=DAy8pYbfx4qS%252FylBaA08oJeErX8%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

agincourt17:
Angela ,a green uranium example of this set has recently been discussed on
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,60474.0.html
and positively ID’d as Hermanova Hut (from their pre-1958 catalogue)

Perfume flask, pattern 11408, size 140gr
Atomiser, pattern 11408A, size 140gr
Lidded powder pot, pattern 18811, size 9cm
Tray, pattern 18845, size 27.5cm

Anne has already added it to the revamped GTS site at
http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms3/czechoslovakian/hermanova/11408-18811

I will try and get permission from the seller of the amber & tortoiseshell set to add copies of the photos here and on the GTS site a.s.a.p.

Fred.

Simba:
Brilliant Fred...yes I saw it on Anne's new pages and the green one is also for sale on Ebay...love to know what they really called this 'tortoiseshell' patterning. :)
